THE CLIMATES OF SPAIN (I)

¡¡BUENOS DÍAS A TODOS!!

AQUÍ OS DEJO LAS TAREAS DE SOCIAL SCIENCE QUE OS HE IDO ENVIANDO HASTA HOY:

MONDAY 16 MARCH 2020

 ·   Terminar las características (precipitations, temperaturas and vegetation) de los tres climogramas que os  entregué en la ficha (Mediterráneo Típico, Mediterráneo       Continental o de Interior y Mediterráneo Seco)

·   Look at the weather forecast in Valladolid from 16 to 26 March 2020. Explain the precipitation and temperatures over these days (complete the table I give you). (DOCUMENTO ADJUNTO EN EL TU CORREO DEL AULA VIRTUAL)

·         Name the regions which have the Mediterranean Climate.

·         Prepare a short report that:

o   includes a climate graph of one town, city or village;

o   gives suggestions of activities you can do there at different times of the year;

o   recommends the best time of year to visit; and,

o   presents the typical vegetation of that place.

-   The report should be about any part of Spain where has the Mediterranean Climate (Typical, continental or Dry)

- You can do the report on a Word Document, Power Point, cardboard, sheet of paper, etc.

OCEANIC CLIMATE

• List the Autonomous Communities which have this climate.
• Copy the climo graph (A Coruña)
• Write down about the main characteristics: temperatures, precipitation and vegetation.
• Look at the climo graph (A Coruña):

o   Which month is the wettest? Which months are the driest?

o   What are the temperatures in summer and winter?

SUBTROPICAL CLIMATE

• List the Autonomous Communities which have this climate.
• Copy the climo graph (SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE)
• Write down about the main characteristics: temperatures, precipitation and vegetation.
• What could be a problem for people in a Subtropical climate?

• LET'S PLAY WITH THE WEATHER: EXPERIMENT: PUT IT INTO PRACTICE!!
